عاجل- المجموعة الأردنية للمناطق الحرة والمناطق التنموية تُطلق مرحلة تطوير شاملة لشاطئ البحر الميت السياحي

أعلنت المجموعة الأردنية للمناطق الحرة والمناطق التنموية أنها بدأت مرحلة جديدة من التطوير الشامل لشاطئ البحر الميت السياحي (شاطئ عمان السياحي سابقاً)، وذلك في إطار إستراتيجيتها الرامية إلى الارتقاء بالمنتج السياحي الوطني وتعزيز تنافسية منطقة البحر الميت التنموية كوجهة عالمية، وخلق متنفس آخر للمواطن الأردني.

وأكد رئيس مجلس إدارة المجموعة الأردنية للمناطق الحرة والمناطق التنموية، المهندس صخر العجلوني، أن هذه الخطوة تأتي لتعزيز التكامل بين مشروعي "الشاطئ السياحي" و"الكورنيش"، بصفتهما ركيزتين أساسيتين لرفع جاذبية المنطقة.

وفي هذا السياق، وقّعت المجموعة اتفاقية إدارة وتشغيل مع شركة (FHM) " لإدارة وتشغيل الفنادق والمطاعم" ، وهي مؤسسة وطنية متخصصة وتمتلك خبرة طويلة في إدارة وتشغيل الفنادق والمطاعم والمرافق السياحية، لتتولى مهام إعادة تأهيل وتشغيل المرافق وفق أحدث المعايير الدولية، تمهيداً لاستقبال الزوار خلال عطلة عيد الفطر المبارك والموسم السياحي القادم.

 وأوضح العجلوني أن الاتفاقية تهدف إلى إدخال أساليب إدارة حديثة تعتمد على التقنيات المتطورة، مع الالتزام التام بمعايير السلامة العامة والاستدامة البيئية، بما يضمن تقديم تجربة استثنائية للزائر الأردني والسائح الأجنبي.

ويمتد الشاطئ السياحي على مساحة تصل إلى 240 دونماً، وبطاقة استيعابية تتجاوز 4500 زائر في آن واحد. وقد صُممت خطة التطوير لتوفر تجربة عائلية آمنة، تشمل تحديث كافة المرافق الخدمية، وإنشاء مناطق جلوس مظللة، وتقديم خدمات فندقية وترفيهية تلبي تطلعات المرتادين.

وشدد العجلوني على أن المشروع يحمل أبعاداً تنموية تتجاوز الجانب السياحي؛ حيث سيسهم في خلق فرص عمل مباشرة لأبناء المجتمع المحلي، بالإضافة إلى تفعيل برامج المسؤولية المجتمعية التي تنتهجها المجموعة لدعم البيئة المحيطة وتحقيق تنمية مستدامة.

من جانبها، أوضحت المهندسة ريم سهاونة القائم بأعمال مدير عام المناطق التنموية، أن عقد التشغيل الجديد يغطي نطاقاً واسعاً من المهام، بدءاً من التشغيل والإدارة اليومية والصيانة، وصولاً إلى التسويق والترويج الرقمي وإدارة منظومة بيع التذاكر. وأكدت أن الهدف هو ضمان استمرارية الجودة التشغيلية وتقديم خدمات متكاملة تليق بمكانة البحر الميت كوجهة سياحية فريدة.

ويُنتظر أن يشكل الشاطئ السياحي بحلته الجديدة إضافة نوعية لمنظومة الاستثمار السياحي في المملكة، مما يعكس التزام المجموعة الأردنية للمناطق الحرة والتنموية بدعم الاقتصاد الوطني وتحفيز بيئة الأعمال في المناطق التنموية.

Jordan Free and Development Zones Group Launches a Comprehensive Development Phase for the Dead Sea Tourist Beach

Jordan Free and Development Zones Group announced the launch of a new comprehensive development phase for the Dead Sea Tourist Beach (formerly known as Amman Tourist Beach). This step comes as part of the Group’s strategy to enhance Jordan’s national tourism product and strengthen the competitiveness of the Dead Sea Development Area as a global destination.

Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng. Sachir Ajlouni, stated that this initiative aims to strengthen the integration between the "Tourist Beach” and the "Corniche” projects, as both represent key pillars in increasing the area’s attractiveness.

In this context, the Group signed a management and operation agreement with FHM (for Hotel and Restaurant Management and Operation), a national company with extensive experience in managing and operating hotels, restaurants, and tourism facilities. The company will oversee the rehabilitation and operation of the facilities according to the latest international standards, in preparation for welcoming visitors during the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr holiday and the next tourism season.

Eng. Ajlouni explained that the agreement seeks to introduce modern management methods supported by advanced technologies, while fully adhering to public safety and environmental sustainability standards, ensuring an exceptional experience for both Jordanian visitors and international tourists.

The Tourist Beach extends over an area of 240 dunums and can accommodate more than 4,500 visitors at the same time. The development plan is designed to provide a safe, family-friendly experience, including the upgrade of all service facilities, the creation of shaded seating areas, and the introduction of hospitality and entertainment services that meet visitors’ expectations.

Eng. Ajlouni emphasized that the project carries development dimensions beyond tourism. It will create direct job opportunities for members of the local community and activate corporate social responsibility programs adopted by the Group to support the surrounding environment and promote sustainable development.

For her part, Eng. Reem Sahawneh, Acting Director General of the Development Zones, stated that the new operating contract covers a wide range of responsibilities, including daily management and maintenance, as well as marketing, digital promotion, and ticketing system management. She stressed that the goal is to ensure consistent operational quality and deliver integrated services that reflect the unique status of the Dead Sea as a distinctive tourist destination.

The Tourist Beach, in its new form, is expected to become a valuable addition to Jordan’s tourism investment landscape, reflecting the Jordan Free and Development Zones Group’s commitment to supporting the national economy and stimulating the business environment within development zones.
