"الأردنية للمناطق الحرة والمناطق التنموية" توقع مذكرة تفاهم مع نيتروجين الأردن لاستثمار 2000 دونم في المنطقة الحرة الكرامة

في إطار التوجهات الوطنية لتعزيز الاستثمار الصناعي والاستفادة من موقع الأردن الإستراتيجي كمنطقة إعادة تصدير للأسواق المجاورة والعالمية، وفي ضوء التطورات الإيجابية لمشروع غاز الريشة الأردني، الواقع بالقرب من المنطقة الحدودية مع العراق ونقاط العبور الحدودية الأردنية، والذي يبعد حوالي 30 كيلومتر عن المنطقة الحرة الكرامة، أعلنت المجموعة الأردنية للمناطق الحرة والمناطق التنموية عن توقيع مذكرة تفاهم كخطوة تمهيدية لإبرام اتفاقية تأجير مع شركة نيتروجين الأردن للأسمدة.

وبموجب مذكرة التفاهم، سيتم تخصيص مساحة تُقدّر بـ 2000 دونم في المنطقة الحرة الكرامة، بهدف إنشاء مصنع لإنتاج الأمونيا، بما يشكّل إضافة نوعية للصناعات التحويلية المرتبطة بالطاقة والغاز، ويعزز من سلاسل القيمة الصناعية في المملكة.

وأكدت المجموعة الأردنية للمناطق الحرة والمناطق التنموية أنها قامت بتقديم كافة التسهيلات والإجراءات الممكنة لتمكين المستثمر من المضي قدمًا في إجراءات التأسيس والتنفيذ، انطلاقًا من حرصها على استقطاب الاستثمارات ذات القيمة المضافة العالية، وتعظيم الأثر الاقتصادي والتنموي للمشاريع الصناعية الكبرى، لا سيما تلك المرتبطة بالموارد الوطنية وموقع الأردن الاستراتيجي.

ويأتي هذا المشروع انسجامًا مع رؤية المجموعة في تحويل المنطقة الحرة الكرامة إلى مركز صناعات تصديرية متقدمة، تسهم في خلق فرص عمل، ودعم النمو الاقتصادي المستدام.

Jordan Free and Development Zones Group Signs MOU with Nitrogen Jordan Co. to Invest 2,000 Dunums in Al-Karameh Free Zone

In line with the national directions to enhance industrial investment and leverage Jordan’s strategic location as a re-export hub to neighboring and global markets, and in light of the positive developments of the Jordanian Risha Gas Project—located near the Iraqi border and Jordanian border crossings and approximately 30 kilometers from Al-Karameh Free Zone— Jordan Free and Development Zones Group announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding as a preliminary step toward concluding a lease agreement with Nitrogen Jordan for Fertilizers.

Under the MOU, an area estimated at 2,000 dunums will be allocated within Al-Karameh Free Zone for the establishment of an ammonia production plant. This project represents a qualitative addition to energy- and gas-related manufacturing industries and strengthens industrial value chains in the Kingdom.

The Jordan Free and Development Zones Group affirmed that it has provided all possible facilities and procedures to enable the investor to move forward with establishment and implementation processes, reflecting its commitment to attracting high value-added investments and maximizing the economic and developmental impact of major industrial projects, particularly those linked to national resources and Jordan’s strategic location.

This project comes in line with the Group’s vision to transform Al-Karameh Free Zone into an advanced export-oriented industrial hub that contributes to job creation and supports sustainable economic growth.
