طلاب التطبيقية الخاصة سفراء الأردن في العالم .. فريق كلية الحقوق إلى نهائيات أكسفورد العالمية للمحكمة الصورية 2026

تأهل فريق كلية الحقوق في جامعة العلوم التطبيقية الخاصة إلى النهائيات العالمية لمسابقة المحكمة الصورية باللغة الإنجليزية (Price Media Law Moot Court) لعام 2026، والتي تنظمها جامعة أكسفورد في المملكة المتحدة وبشراكة أكاديمية مع جامعة كولومبيا الأمريكية، بما يعكس المستوى الدولي الرفيع للمنافسة.

وجاء هذا التأهل بعد مشاركة الفريق في الجولات القارية التي استضافتها جامعة عين شمس في القاهرة، بمشاركة فرق من دول منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، حيث أظهرت النتائج المعتمدة من جامعة أكسفورد تأهل فريق جامعة العلوم التطبيقية الخاصة ضمن أفضل أربعة فرق وصلت المربع الذهبي، إلى جانب كل من الجامعة البريطانية، وجامعة عين شمس، وجامعة القاهرة.

ويتكوّن فريق الكلية المتأهل من الطلبة: آصال الجرجاوي، عبدالله سرور، ليان فودة، وسلاف الأسعد، حيث تعزّز هذا الإنجاز بحصول الطالبة آصال الجرجاوي على جائزة ثاني أفضل مترافع في المسابقة، ليعكس ذلك مستوى الإعداد الأكاديمي والمهني لطلبة كلية الحقوق، وقدرتهم على الترافع والتحليل القانوني وفق أعلى المعايير الدولية.

كما تُوِّج هذا النجاح بحصول الطلبة على فرصة "التدريب المفضي إلى العمل” مع جامعة كولومبيا الأمريكية، والمقدمة كجائزة لأعضاء الفرق المتأهلة، بما يفتح أمامهم آفاقًا مهنية دولية ويعزز خبراتهم العملية في واحدة من أبرز المؤسسات الأكاديمية العالمية.

The Faculty of Law team at Applied Science Private University has qualified for the global finals of the Price Media Law Moot Court Competition for the year 2026, a competition organized by the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom, in academic partnership with Columbia University in the United States, reflecting the high international level of the competition.

This qualification came following the team’s participation in the regional rounds hosted by Ain Shams University in Cairo, with the participation of teams from the Middle East and North Africa. According to the official results approved by the University of Oxford, the Applied Science Private University team advanced among the top four teams, reaching the semifinals, alongside The British University, Ain Shams University, and Cairo University.

The qualifying team consists of the students Asal Al-Jarjawi, Abdullah Suroor, Layan Foudeh, and Salaf Al-Assaad. This achievement was further strengthened by Asal Al-Jarjawi receiving the award for Runner up Oralist in the competition, reflecting the strong academic and professional preparation of the College of Law students and their ability to engage in legal advocacy and analysis in accordance with the highest international standards.

This success was also crowned by the students being awarded the opportunity for a "pathway-to-employment internship” with Columbia University, granted to members of the qualifying teams, opening new international professional horizons and enhancing their practical experience at one of the world’s leading academic institutions.
